We keep this simple: we collect as little data as possible, we don't sell it to anyone, and we use it only to operate the service. Here's exactly what we collect and why.
TeachTrades ("we", "us", "our") operates the forex signal service available at this website and via a private Telegram channel. For questions about this policy, contact us at the details in Section 12.
We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service:
| Data | Why we collect it | How |
|---|---|---|
| Telegram username / ID | To grant and manage your channel access | You provide this when contacting us |
| Crypto transaction ID | To verify your payment and activate your subscription | You provide this via Telegram |
| Subscription details | To know your plan, start date, and expiry | Recorded manually when access is granted |
| Server access logs | Security, uptime monitoring, and debugging | Automatically by the web server (IP address, timestamp, page visited) |
| Aggregate visit statistics | To understand which pages are useful and how people find the site | Counted on our own server — no cookies, no third party. Your IP address is used to look up a country code offline and is then discarded, never stored; see Section 8 |
We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use the dashboard.
We use the data we collect solely to:
We will never use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.
We explicitly do not collect:
Our Service interacts with the following third parties:
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or tracking SDKs.
We retain your subscription data (Telegram ID, plan, dates) for as long as necessary to manage your account and for up to 12 months after your subscription expires, in case of disputes.
Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted.
Aggregate visit statistics are retained for up to 400 days so that year-on-year comparisons are possible. They contain no IP addresses and no data that identifies you.
You may request deletion of your data at any time — see Section 7.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, message us on Telegram (see Section 12). We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may also have rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The TeachTrades dashboard does not use cookies for tracking or analytics purposes. The site may use minimal browser storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) purely for functional purposes such as remembering UI preferences — no personal data is stored this way.
We use WebSocket connections for real-time signal updates. These are session-based and do not persist any personal information.
We keep basic statistics about how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and which link brought them here. We think you should know exactly how that works, because it is deliberately different from how most sites do it.
One honest consequence of building it this way: we cannot distinguish a returning visitor from a new one, because the daily identifier makes that impossible by design. We accept that limitation rather than track you more closely.
At the moment you register we record the country your IP address maps to and, where one exists, the website or campaign that referred you — taken from the visit statistics described above, which is why it has to be captured then: the daily identifier that links the two is gone by the next day. Your IP address itself is still not stored. We use this only to understand which countries and which links bring people to the service.
Signed-in accounts without a subscription receive a small number of signals each day ahead of the normal delay. To stop one person claiming that allowance repeatedly by registering several accounts, we record the allowance against a hashed network identifier as well as the account: your IP address is combined with today's date and a secret key, passed through a one-way hash, and only the hash is stored. The address itself is never written down, the identifier changes at midnight UTC, and it is used for nothing but enforcing this limit.
A side effect worth stating plainly: people sharing one connection — an office, a household, a campus, a mobile network — share the daily allowance, because from the outside they are indistinguishable. A subscription is not affected by this in any way.
Country data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP, used under CC BY 4.0.
Because this method stores no personal identifiers on your device and cannot single you out, no cookie consent banner is required. If you would still prefer not to be counted at all, most browser privacy modes and tracker-blocking extensions that mask your IP address will prevent your visit from being distinguished from any other.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data we hold, including:
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you not to share sensitive information via unsecured channels.
The Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
For significant changes, we will notify active subscribers via Telegram.
